SHREE RAMAKRISHNA SEWA KENDRA

...a 50-bed multi facility hospital

National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India has kindly approved the 50 bed Hospital Projects under Section 35 AC of the Income Tax Act, 1961 vide Notification No. 1462(E) dated 17th June, 2008 for the financial years 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11.

For long, need has been felt to provide healthcare facilities in a broader way to the poor, downtroddens, dalits, whose access to medical facilities are limited owing to lack of healthcare infrastucture in the area.

The Shanti Ashram has undertaken a project to build up a 50-bed multi-facility hospital to serve those sections of people in its own humble way.

The hospital shall have both Emergency and Outdoor Departments, Indoor Wards, Operation Theatres and other necessary departments with dedicated residential staff. In the initial stages, the following departments are planned :

LOCATION OF THE PROJECT

The proposed project is located at 3/445,Vivekanand Path, Near Barkagaon Road, Hazaribag - 825301, Jharkhannd which is situated at the side of the Ashram within the vicinity of the Hazaribag town. A vast area of land adjacent to the Ashram is in occupation of the Ashram and the area will be utilized for the purpose of the project. It is well connected by roads and railway lines with the cities of Ranchi, Patna and Kolkata etc. There are roads towards villages and the places of local inhabitants. The area of land is shown in the map annexed hereto.


PROJECT COST ANALYSIS

Analysis of the project cost estimates start with an examination of the assumption on which these have been based in the project report. Every effort is made to ensure that all items of project cost have been adequately taken into account. In order to make a realistic assessment of the project cost various items of cost are broken down in to as many sub-heads as possible so that no item of cost is over-looked. While assessing the project cost, escalation in cost on account of inflation during implementation period is provide for. The main aspect looked into while securitizing the project cost estimates are as under :
