Building of 50-bed multifacility hospital named "Shree Ramakrishna Seva Kendra" is under construction. This would help the the poorer sections of society.

Weekly classes for Personality Development would be conducted by the Ashram at Hazaribag under the affiliation of Institute of International Social Development, New York. The classes will start from April 2007. Last date for receiving applications from candidates is 31st march 2007.

Course Details :

1st Year : Stories and Slokas which would build values and practice of Jyotirdhyana which would enhance intellect; selected Bhajans and enactment of dramas on mythological stories.

2nd Year : Study of Bhagawat Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam in relation to creation, nature and existence; works of Sri Aurobindo, Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, lives of other saints of the worls and diferent religions and faiths.

3rd year : Service to be rendered to the Ashrama, charitable work; preparation and enactment of weekly drama on lives of great men for devotees and their families to come and enjoy.

Institute of International Social Development, New York, shall ensure a certificate after 3 years of successful training. Institute of International Social Development, New York, shall conduct written examination and viva voce before announcing elligibility of persons getting such certificates.

A Seminar on HIV/AIDS prevention and care was conducted by the Ashram at Hazaribag during the period from 1st December to 6th December 2006, with due observance of World AIDS Day on 1st December, 2006. Eminent people like the Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Hazaribag, Sri B. P. Mehta and other Government Officials as well as faculty of local eminent Institutions were present. The whole programme was conducted by Sri Rabin Chakravarty. The seminar was widely appreciated by the people of Hazaribag. A feedback report will be published shortly.

Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation, Kolkata, has donated 499 books worht Rupees One Lacs approx. for the Ashrama's Library. Financial assistance has been given for improvement of the library too.

The Ashrama organized mobile health camps on 25th December 2006, with the help of renowned doctors of Hazaribag and distributed clothing to poor people.

The Annual Utsav of the AShrama will be celebrated from 27th April to 29th April, 2007.
