About Us
Shree Ramakrishna Shanti Ashram, imbedded with the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda philosophy and spirit of service to humanity have been executing developmental intervention amidst poorer sections of the society for more than seven decades. Shree Ramakrishna Shanti Ashram is extensively working in Hazaribagh and adjoining districts of Jharkhand as well as Berhampur in West Bengal.
Genesis
The first Ashram was begun at a spot near the Kalibari in Hazaribagh. In December 1950, the plot of the present Ashram was purchased. Rev. Himanshu Maharaj began staying from the day of Vijaya Dashami in 1955.
